Hi Diana!!
Thanks for hosting Simple Lives Thursday! I’m sharing a post & I’d love to get some discussion going among other food bloggers. Hope you’ll stop by & share your two cents!! My topic is “The Plight of a FOOD Blogger & CLEAN Eating.”
Hope things are going well with you! I’m EXCITED to be attending my first food blogger function this coming weekend, and I’m driving up to Orlando with a local food blogger mama. She and I haven’t met IRL yet, but tomorrow is almost here and I can’t wait. I’ll be tweeting while I’m there. Sharing a post about it later tonight, and ready for my first kid-free weekend in a LONG time! 🙂

Diana – thanks for hosting. I linked up to my post on greens today. My outside garden is almost thawed out (finally)!
There’s a post I did for Living Well Moms that I thought about sharing, but it’s not exactly a homemaking tip type of thing. This one’s about how to talk to your kids about sex: http://www.thelivingwellmoms.com/2011/03/things-were-embarrased-to-talk-about.html
Of course, those of us with critters know that they can be a big discussion aid for approaching the topic.
I’m working on a follow up post on the radiation info, too, now that we are seeing contamination showing up in the US. Hopefully I’ll have that live soon.

Hi Diana! Finally settling back down after the craziness of college searching! This week I will also plant my veggie garden so I dont get too far behind! Linking up a great pork carnitas recipe that was quick and easy and works great with pastured pork shoulder. Also if anyone has a recipe they made from a cookbook remember my Tackling Bittman and his buddies blog hop is open all month so stop by and link up! All the best and good luck with your garden! Alex

Post is up! Questions answered about exactly how much radioactive material has been found in the milk, and why they aren’t taking measurements for “more dangerous materials” than Iodine. It’s so tough to track down real information!

Hi Diana! I am sharing my new recipe for Flourless Chocolate Cake. It is gluten free, nut free and dairy free. I also only used 1/4 of a cup of sugar in the whole cake. It’s healthy and it tastes amazing!
Thanks for hosting!
