Refreshed

IMG_3210

It’s been about 2 months since I’ve posted.  I never realized how much this space could become a part of me.

Not just for the sake of blogging, but to write.  To journal, share, and learn from one another.  If there’s one thing I’ve learned is how much we all have in common.

We all go through similar situations in life and I feel it’s to uplift one another when trials and hardship take hold.

Testimony is such a powerful tool to encourage and help others get through difficult times.

I want to thank each of you that commented, sent me emails, and encouraging words with my last post.  Your thoughts and kind words were encouragement that I needed and a blessing to me.

Thank you.

These past two months, I needed.  It’s incredible how refreshed I feel and how much more creative as well.

I’m officially 3 months pregnant with my third baby.  When I wrote that I needed the past two months for me, well… I really needed them.

I completely forgot how exhausted one gets in the first trimester and this time around, quite nauseous.

I’m happy to finally start feeling like myself again and now it’s time to take hold of my nutrition and really jump on the ball with exercise.

What’s to come

Star Fine Olive Oil Sponsorship

I’m really happy to share that Star Fine Olive Oil has sponsored my blog for the next 3 months.  A perfect fit for me as I use extra virgin olive oil for 95% of my cooking.

I’ll be sharing some recipes and general olive oil posts starting this week.

Giveaway Winners

I have a couple of giveaways I need to announce winners for.  One for MadeOn Hard Lotion and the other for my friends ebook, Just Making Ice Cream.

My 2012 Calendar

I’ve created a 2012 Calendar using some of my favorite homesteading, gardening and recipe pictures.  I’m really excited about it and am already purposefully planning photography for next years calendar.  You can view a preview and order the calendar at lulu.com by clicking here.  A small percentage of each calendar sold will help to maintain this blog during the year.

I’m feeling Refreshed

I’m feeling refreshed and ready to start moving forward.

So, how have you all been?  Anything new?  How’s your Christmas season going?

Much love,

diana

Good morning, Diana! Glad to see you back and hear that everything is going okay. It’s crazy around here as always. I just bottled the pumpkin wine last night, and made cottage cheese and tapioca pudding. I need to freeze the kale and the last of the apples this week, as the temps are supposed to drop like a rock and the apples in cool storage are starting to spot. Not too much holiday prep yet, but perhaps this week I’ll tackle it.

Great to hear from you Laurie! With the exhaustion in my first trimester, I didn’t freeze my kale… darn it, lol! I also have carrots and parsnips that need picking!

Glad to see you’re back feeling refreshed, creative and ready to tackle the next six months of pregnancy. Congratulations to you & your family!

I’m almost ready for Christmas… I have a few more gift cards & certificates to buy and one more hand made gift to make; other than that, I’m ready. Oh yea, and cards to mail! I guess I had more that I thought to do, lol!

Diana, I’ve been thinking about you quite a bit lately. The holiday season is quite a hectic one, and I imagine absolutely insane trying to prepare for the little one while there are other plates spinning in the air. I pray for you and your family quite a bit, and so I am glad to hear that your energy has been reinvigorated. I hope that your pregnancy and the juggling act continues to get easier. All the best my dear friend!
