I’m loving life by thanking God for my three children. Goodness, each day I look at them I can’t believe I’ve been entrusted to raise them in His ways. I’m just smitten in love. I’m also pretty darn happy with my little urban homestead. A clothes line, lovely garden, and chickens in the backyard bawking make me happy πŸ˜‰ Hey, it’s the little things right?

Thanks for this! Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in all of the things we have going on-right now it we have tomatoes, green beans, herbs etc. etc. coming out of our ears that we need to do something with…I admit, this is a little stressful with having 2 young toddlers at home w/a sick mama but REALLY? My family has more than enough to eat, just coming from our backyard!!! They have clean clothes, toys & books to keep them busy when I am busy. They get to spend all of their days together, at home, with their mommy and have become best friends! Friends that care enough to invite us to playdates. Grandparents that care enough to call to let them know they are loved (live far away:() and a daddy that plays with them the second they get home and who has been helping with dinners, albeit not the healthy meals I would usually cook but helping nonetheless when mama is sick with #3! Sometimes slowing down and really looking at things a little differently makes all the difference-All of the gifts that God has given to me makes me LOVE life!!!! Praise God! πŸ™‚

Oh, I know what you mean Steph. My back is hurt right now and it was stressing me out as I have so much produce from the garden coming on that needs to be put up. I finally said forget it and started to give a lot of it away. I can’t even tell you how much better I felt after doing that πŸ™‚ A double blessing πŸ˜€

How am I my loving life right now? Well… I am always thankful! I am soo blessed! On Sunday it was a year since we moved to Texas… yes, it is HOT here! and I miss Joshua’s family and my friends in Wisconsin… but God’s been good to us here! He is blessing us so much and we have found friends that make us feel like we’ve known them our whole lives! My girls love church and I am soo involved in ministries there too! It’s awesome! Yes … I am loving my life! πŸ™‚ I love God! And Praise Him for He’s been good to me!
