Are You a Health Plan Pro? Find out and Win up to $500!

Are You a Health Plan Pro?

Guys, I’m writing for the first time from my new (to me) home! Our homesteading dreams didn’t turn out exactly the way we had planned (more on that later), but I am happy to finally be settled into a home with a big kitchen (yay!) and plenty of room outdoors for upcoming urban homesteading projects this spring. I can’t wait!

But first, let’s get through the autumn and winter, right? First things first, it’s that time of year again – open enrollment for health insurance. Remember, you have from now until January 31st to review your health insurance and find a plan that best suits your family.

This can be a daunting task. There is terminology to learn including premiums versus deductibles, copay, out-of-pocket limit, and coinsurance. This is sure to make anyone’s head spin! Here’s the thing, it has to be done and on your own time if your self-employed like my family is. Not fun – well, maybe it can be!

UnitedHealthcare created a fun website to help consumers learn about healthcare terminology and plans. It’s called, Are You a Health Plan Pro?

On the website they’ve created a couple of interactive games to test your knowledge and make learning fun each taking about 5 minutes to complete. No worries, they give you answers along the way for those consumers that may need a little more help … ahem. You don’t need to be a UnitedHealthcare customer to participate. Here’s a really neat thing … if you play, you can win! Chew on that for a bit.

The first interactive game is a quiz. It asks you questions about healthcare terminology and plans to test your knowledge. As I mentioned above, the quiz does give you answers along the way. I liked that they included practical scenarios to give the consumer a better idea on premium versus out-of-pocket costs.

After completing the game, you’ll be entered into a $100 weekly drawing and a $500 monthly drawing which ends November 30th … so click here to play today!

What’s the Word

The second interactive game is a word cross puzzle to help you learn your healthcare terminology. It’s fun, takes about 5 minutes to complete, and yes, there are cheats along the way 😉

Just like the Are You a Health Plan Pro game, After completing What’s the Word, you’ll be entered into another $100 weekly drawing and a $500 monthly drawing which ends November 30th … so click here to play today!

It’s true, health insurance isn’t much fun but I feel UnitedHealthcare did a fine job making the topic a bit more exciting, don’t you think? What are you waiting for, head on over to UnitedHealthcare today to test your knowledge and win some money!
