Just as important as food is to our physical bodies, so is filling our souls with the spiritual. This past weekend I was able to spend some refreshing time at an annual women's retreat put on by my home church. For me, it's always a time of rest away from outside noise and distractions where I can not only reflect on my life but on God's calling for me. It's a sweet time of fellowship with other woman. Garden Update, 5-20-2011
The Month of May has been exquisite. The past couple of weeks have been my vacation in between semesters. The boys and I have taken full advantage of that and have been working in the gardens and enjoying being outdoors. The weather has been the driest it has been in 3 years. It's allowed my gardens to thrive and I'll soon be harvesting lettuce, radishes and green onions followed by peas, spinach and fava beans.
