Thank you so much to everyone that attended our first twitter chat. We had so much fun that we are talking about making this a regular event. We’re not sure yet… once a month, once every other month? We also talked about a time that works best for everyone and it seems it might be best to hold it later in the evening when families have settled in for the night.
What are your thoughts? Tell us, what would you like to see. Once a month, once every other month? What time works best for you and your family?
Please leave a reply in the comments below. That really helps us out!
Back to the hop. I can’t wait to see what you share this week.
It’s Simple Lives Thursday! My favorite day of the week where you share your tips and recipes for living a simple life. Whichever blog that you choose to link up your post, it will show up on all 5 sites! As a reminder, this blog hop is a way to share with many people your posts on what you are doing to live a simple life. Whether that’s gardening, raising urban chickens, homeschooling, sewing, making your own deodorant, or cleaning supplies… we want to know about it! If you’re into homeopathy, ways to save $ by conserving energy or other ways to live frugally… we want to know about it! If you bike, cook real food, homestead or farm… we want to know about it!

1. If linking real, traditional and simple recipes, please make sure all ingredients used are whole. Such as whole grains, vegetables, legumes, meats, even sugar. In order to keep the integrity of “nourishing” food, we will delete any recipes that utilize processed, boxed foods. We are definitely not going to be ingredient policeman, however, please note that this is a hop hosted by advocates of the real, local and sustainable food movements.
2. Please link your posts back to one of the hosting blogs. This is a common blog hop courtesy. This link helps build the Simple Lives Thursday community by sending your readers to all of the other participants posts. We all end up sharing and learning from each other.
HI Diana,
I shared my Shake TO Go and some articles I hope you enjoy! Thanks for hosting!
The twitter chat was fun. Meeting people via twitter was thrilling. I couldn’t do it more than once a month. Off to start a homeschool webcast. (ustream.tv/channel/threesistersiowa)
Thanks for hosting this linky.
Good morning, Diana! Thanks for hosting.
Today I linked up my post on our recent bulk grain order. Nearly TWO TONS of grain and other “stocking up” products for 20 families arrived at my home during our last heat wave. It was quite an experience.
Thanks for doing this. Today I linked up my Twist of Hamburgers post! Sometimes simple changes make a meal exciting again! I don’t really use Twitter. I might try it next time.
I really enjoyed the #simplelives Twitter chat the other day! Glad I happened to hop online not long after it started. I’ve shared an article that may not be directly related to living simply, but it’s definitely relevant for anyone who blogs about it! 🙂
This is my first time posting. Great ideas here!
I posted about the nourishing nutrient profile of nettle leaf. It’s also actually great to ferment nettle leaf like you would a water kefir drink or infuse your bone broth with it. It’s in season here now. 🙂
