Simple Lives Thursday, #54

Thank you so much to everyone that attended our first twitter chat.  We had so much fun that we are talking about making this a regular event.  We're not sure yet... once a month, once every other month?  We also talked about a time that works best for everyone and it seems it might be best to hold it later in the evening when families have settled in for the night. Garden Update, 7-27-2011

It's been a wonderful gardening season so far.  We've been under a heat wave, however, with days of rain interspersed giving everyone a much needed break from watering. One of my favorite things about being in Spain is visiting the plazas (food market) early in the morning.  ... continue reading...

I'm in my kitchen so much of the day that I consider it my workplace.  When I think of the perfect kitchen for me, I don't think fancy but functional. Simple. A place to can, preserve, knead dough, bake bread, butcher... work. A kitchen of days past where I can bring in a hose and wash down ... continue reading...
