My Morning with Big Brother

I had such a great day with my son. I woke him up at 7:00 am to head out to the farmers market. He really enjoys coming with me especially since we always make a stop at QT for a doughnut and dan. Nehemiah calls chocolate milk dan, I have no idea why. He gets even more excited when I pour his dan into a coffee cup with a lid. Spring Garden Update – Companion Planting

My spring Garden is doing Great! I always love it when we get a nice long rain. The plants thirst for it and respond by really taking off. I've harvested my first strawberry and have started some integrated pest management techniques by planting companion plants of annuals and herbs. I've planted geraniums, zinnias, nasturtiums, and marigolds. I've also planted chamomile in between my onions as it should enhance their flavor and drive nasty bugs away.
