Lentils with Spanish chorizo sausage. This has to be one of my favorite comfort foods. This is a recipe that I have grown up with and could eat every day if I had to. It's a simple recipe that my children enjoy. Chorizo Sausage and Pimenton are two staple Spanish ingredients in this recipe. Chorizo is a dry/cured sausage that is found in every local bar and household in Spain. The taste is amazing. In Spain, they sell different varieties of Chorizo. La Feria de Sevilla
Every year when April and May roll around, I can't help but wish I was in Spain. My favorite time of the year to be in Spain is during La Feria de Sevilla or San Lucar. Our Journey to a VBAC It’s been a year since I’ve had my ... continue reading...
Seedling Update!
It has already been over a month that I planted my seedlings under shop lights in my basement. Heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. The peppers and eggplants have done great. They've actually been pretty easy. I water them every other week with fish emulsion and they've been slowly but steadily growing. My tomatoes, on the other hand, have been the greatest challenge for me. My basement gets cold, so I found out real quickly that tomatoes need warmth. They are also very sensitive to ... continue reading...
